Meeting Minutes for July 10, 2017

7:15pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

• Monthly Bills
• Still needing rifle back stop repaired

7:33pm – Meeting was called to order – Pledge of Allegiance & Conservation pledge

Introduction of Officers: Stephen Gustkey- Pistol, Mike Cumberland-President, Jim Hacke- Secretary, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, Mike Ripley- Jr. Rifle/Black Powder, Tom Horstman- Trap

Treasurer’s Report: Steve read treasurer’s report in John’s absence.

Bills and Communications: Final installment of hall floor replacement will be made. Heating oil tank will be filled soon.

Pop: Steve turned in $12.

Rental Committee Report: Hall is rented out on July 29^th. August 5^th, 11^th, 12^th, 13^th, 19^th, 25^th, 26^th, 27^th.

Pistol Team: The pistol team will competing in the State Championship Bulls Eye Match coming up in August on the 11^th, 12^th, 13^th. The pistol team shoots on Thursdays from 5 PM till dark on the outdoor range. $2 a night or $20 for all summer. 22 cal. & Center fire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team: Tom turned in $321 from the county league and trap practice combined. Trap range open every Tuesday evening starting at 5pm for practicing. $3.50 per 25 targets. Open to public and new shooters.

Black Powder: Rendezvous is coming up on September 3^rd & 4^th open to the public between the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM. The kitchen will be open and so Steve Gustkey will be looking for volunteers to help prepare food. All help is appreciated for any amount of time. Remember that the Meat Shoots start at 11:00 am now.

Junior Rifle Team: Mike turned in $31 and kept $13. Mike announced that he expecting to take about ½ dozen shooters to Camp Perry this year. Junior rifle is still shooting in 2 separate groups. Advanced shooters on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of the month and beginners on the 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday of the month. Shooting begins at 6:30pm and runs till 8:00pm. Any adults willing to help are appreciated.

Archery: Still looking for any members willing to join together to make a team to practice.

Fun Indoor Shoot: They will be shooting every Monday @ 1pm starting in September. Everyone is welcome. Open sights with .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bulls eye wins prize.

Membership: Brian read new memberships and collected $200 of which $20 to maintenance fund and $180 to general fund, $20 from key cards. He reported ? new members for 2017 which brings total of 442 Sr, Life and Charter members. Total membership is 619.

Old Business: New tile around hard wood floor in main hall is now replaced. The floor is to be waxed on July 15^th.

New Business: Just a reminder about the Rendezvous coming up in September. Steve looking for any help for any amount of time you can may be able to give to help cook, wipe up tables, etc.
